Description

For this shot I held the flower close to a stone wall to keep the background from being black. The stone is a lighter color, but due to light fall off it under exposed by about a stop and I got some decent contrast between the subject and the background. There is no natural light in this frame (all flash).

Tech specs: Canon 40D (F10, 1/250, ISO 100) + a Canon MPE-65mm macro lens (@4x) + a diffused MT-24EX (manual mode 1/8 power).
