Another snoozing Solitary Bee. I "cheated" for this shot: I hate holding the camera vertically -seems odd to me. So I shot this one with the camera horizontal and framed it knowing that I'd turn it 90 degrees in post.

Tech specs: Canon 40D (F10, 1/250, ISO 100) + a Canon MPE-65mm macro lens (@ 4x) + an MT-24EX macro twin flash (-2/3 FEC).

I absolutely love this :) And I would love it even more if it were in Black and White and had more brightness and contrast. It feels more like an abstract photograph actually, and we focus on the wonderful details more if it's in B&W.
