Description

Just a bowl of water, some dish soap, and a straw to blow air into the water to make the bubbles Then I went looking for interesting colors and patterns. In post I processed this shot in the same way that I'd process an insect photo, but I pushed the saturation and contrast more -insert something about artistic license here... ;)

Tech Specs: Canon 70D (F16, 1/250, ISO 100) + a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens (3x) + a diffused MT-24EX. This is a single, uncropped, frame taken hand held.

The photo was well taken but it would have been better is the shot was only the soap. The colors are vibrant and amazing to the human eye but the fact it's a photo is a bit disapointing. If the art you picture he was draw or even panted it would have been much more unique. Any one could do this at home so what would make theirs differnt from yours. As I said the colors were so bright and playful that you can imagine blowing a bubble at the sight of the familiar childhood soap that we would spend hours outside playing with. If you were to use paint or color pencils to do this piece let me know I would quite I joy it!
