Description
I have a love hate relationship with this critter. When they're calm they make for a great high magnification target. But when they are active they eat my flowers.
Tech Specs: Canon 70D (F11, 1/250, ISO 200) + a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens (@5x) + a diffused MT-24EX (both flash heads on Kaiser adjustable flash shoes). This is a single, uncropped, frame taken hand held.
Technique: Not much to say really -I took the flower it was on to my patio table where I could comfortably photograph it. I held onto the flower's petal with my left index finger and thumb, and rested the camera on that same hand to keep everything steady.
